Training course: Due diligence in the supply chain for seafood processing and exporting enterprises

In the context of integration, foreign partners tend to put more requirements related to labour and environment in the selection process of suppliers. This trend is being reinforced by regulations on due diligence related to sustainable development that have been enacted in a number of developed countries in cluding the new German Act on Business Due Diligence in Supply Chains (effective January 1, 2023) and the Draft Directive of EU on corporate sustainability on Due Diligence passed in February 2022. These regulations require businesses to proactively assess and reduce the risk of violating labour, social and environmental standards across the supply chain. Seafood is the industry that will be affected when the requirements for due diligence in the supply chain become increasingly tight. In order to help businesses quickly grasp the requirements of customers, prepare an effective monitoring system, ensure compliance with labour and environmental standards in production and business activities. For this regard, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) organizes a training course on due diligence in the supply chain for seafood processing and exporting enterprises
